Louis Vuitton’s Artycapucines 2022
A magazine mockup concept, intended to feature each artist, their process and final art pieces for Louis Vuitton’s 2022 Artycapucines event.
For this project, I designed a magazine concept that showcases the six designers involved in “Artycapucines 2022”, in which Louis Vuitton invited six different contemporary artists to transform their iconic “Capucines” bag into a creative art piece that represents each of their unique styles.
The front and back cover show simplicity and elegance that align with Louis Vuitton's branding and style. The front cover features a more colorful contrast to the deep black of back cover for a luxurious emphasis.
As the reader turns the pages and continues throughout the magazine concept, they will find photography and descriptions of each step of the process in a dynamic and easily digestible format.
The concept sketches above show the initial design and flow of the magazine, labeled for clarity and in similar format to the inDesign spreads to make them easier to follow.
Louis Vuitton’s primary font, also known as Futura, is used for the wordmark logo and subheadings throughout the branding of LV in almost all publications and print media.
The color story was created from each of the designers primarily used colors, and were used in the promotional photoshoot on the magazine cover.
The full page conceptual spreads created in Adobe’s inDesign can be viewed in their entirety below (click to enlarge).
